Who Art Thou?
A recent search landed someone on this former post of mine. And just as it followed up on this prior post, I would again like to reprise the question.
So, who are you? Tell me something about yourselves. This will be a nice way to see who is still here (or back) after my year-long lag in regular posting.

First time around I asked you to
Drop a comment with your name (or pseudonym if you're feeling secretive), some of your writing background if you have it, where you live, and anything else that seems pertinent. Fave films or genres? Birthday (don't expect presents)? Favorite cut of beef? The second time it was
If you responded the first time around (click that link above to check), no need to comment again here, unless you want to update us! It also might be fun to reread that and see how your life may have changed since then.Okay, so if you didn't comment previously, I'd love it if you commented now. And if you have, feel free to update us. Answer any of the above questions, or something else. Who was your first kiss? Tell us about that time you were arrested. Or that other time. Whatever you want.
But for those who didn't respond then, I'd love it if you spoke up now. Give us a name or pseudonym. What is your favorite drink? What is the most embarrassing thing you've ever written? Any distinguishing scars or features? Tell us whatever you think we should know! As I said then, this is your post.
Thanks.
After all, this is your post!

Real name is actually Ricardo. Got a screenplay entered at slamdance and that got really positive coverage thus far and hope to advance to the next round. Love gin and tonics. Have a nice scar on my forehead from flying through a glass window as a kid. Stunt work was not my calling. Most embarrassing thing I've written? My entire blog. LOL!
Funjoel, my name is Eric C. Henrikson, I write under the pseudonymn of E.C. Henry. I am 38 year old, single, guy, who could all the advice with women you have to offer. I'm partial to blondes, brunettes and red head -- I hope this information helps you help me!
Currently I am trying to sell 7 spec scripts. Just today those slow pokes from the copywrite office sent me my copywrite notices for a sports comedy I finished writting in April, "Hometown Professional Football" and a 37 page "Hometown Professional Football: DVD Extras."
Right now I'm writing my follow-up to a supernatural western thriller I wrote in 2004/5, "Cowboy Alien Diaries." This follow-up script is very different from anything I've written before. I've done more research for this script than all other 7 scripts put together. And right now I'm in writer's nirvana: I've got a completly ploted story, and am going deeper with the character and discovering more about them as I write. Hopefully when my follow-up to "Cowboy Alien Diaries" makes the contests rounds, it'll reach your desk and you'll get a chance to read it.

I don't know much about me, but that guy there in the picture is looking quite dapper.
I like writing comedies and dramas (general, eh?). Currently I'm writing and directing a short film about a girl in a ticketbooth (i used to be that girl). I'm always thinking up ideas, but of course executing them is the hard part. If I can afford beef I would choose NY Strip steak, but nowadays, it's In and Out.
Thanks for those who chimed in. No one else? I'm surprised, after the number of responses to the previous two posts of this type. Come on now, don't be shy!
I'm shy. So?
Err. First kiss... That would be when I was five. To get into my friends house we'd sneak through his older sister's bedroom window. One day, she caught us and wouldn't let me pass till she received a "kissing toll". Then her mom walked in. I left quickly via the window. And both of them were never allowed to talk or play with me again. This is also my first, "and then I jumped out her window" stories. I got a few of those.
I've never been arrested. I have been escorted out of two hotels though. One for picking the lock on their grand piano at 3 a.m. and making a racket. The other for... err. never you mind.
I'm a new screenwriter. Former poet. Fulltime slacker.
I've been lurking for awhile. Joel writes a great blog. Keep it up man.
Real name is above.
Have talked about fave movies enough times that I don't feel like writing it out again but I'll answer the other questions in the order the were presented.

I live in Monterey county, originally from the San Fernando Valley.
I like all genre of film, will watch just about anything (but usually have to be in the mood for war films).
I'm currently working on a Supernatural Comedy.
I started reading scribe blogs about a year & a half ago, and started blogging in Jan. I can't remember exactly how i ran across your site. I think it might have been thru Scott the Reader. I clicked on his blog thru Wordplay.
Have been a loyal reader since then. :-)
Hi FunJoel!
I've been reading your blog for a long time, and then took a year-long hiatus from everything writing-related, after finishing my first screenplay (yes, it was painful, hard work).
I'm getting back on track, and getting up to date on all the writing blogs and I've begun writing my second screenplay, a dramedy based loosely on recent life experiences.
I'm currently working on an Internet startup in New York City, and I've never been in LA.
Thanks for your blog, by the way!
Hi Joel,
The screenwriter is dead, long live the screenwriter.
"Cormac Brown" is my pen name. I'm an up-and-slumming writer in the city of Saint Francis, and I'm following in the footsteps of Hammett... minus the TB and working for the Pinkerton Agency.
Barring a producer letting me take a shot at a short story or novel that I've written, I moving as far away as I can from screenwriting...for at least the next few years.
